Red Creek Farm is owned and operated by Carol Anne Bailey. The farm offers many different animal services, such as pet boarding and grooming, herding training and lessons, obedience training and classes. We also breed Working Border Collies, Katahdin cross hair sheep, Reg. Brangus cattle, and commercial cattle. We enjoy working with all kinds of animals and helping people with their animals as well.
Red Creek Farm was bought as a cattle farm in the Spring of 2000, With the help of family and friends, it was remodeled into a herding dog working facility, as well as continuing to be a cattle farm. Our house was built by family and friends using recycled building materials. We could not have done it without all of their help. Red Creek Farm would not have been possible without the help of Carol Anne’s parents, Mary and Hubert Bailey. We are grateful for their ongoing support as well as the support of our friends.
The farm name comes from two of Carol Anne’s two main working dogs at the time the farm was bought, Red and Creek. These two special dogs were the inspiration of Red Creek Farm.
The RCF family includes about 90 sheep, a small group of Brangus cattle, several Border Collies, Great Pyrenees X Anatolian Livestock Guard Dogs, yard chickens, peafowl, a turkey, barn cats, and the special house pets, Holli the 3 legged blind kitty and Adam & Hope, the pet Border Collies.
Carol Anne is a member of the United States Border Collie Handler’s Assoc., Georgia Stock Dog Assoc., American Border Collie Assoc., National Cattle Dog Assoc, Oconee Cattleman’s Assoc., International Brangus Breeder’s Assoc., Southeast Brangus Breeder’s Assoc., and Earle’s Grove Baptist Church.
At Red Creek Farm, we offer many animal related services and events. We are dedicated to helping people with their animal needs.
